Hen And Stag Parties In The UK

The trend for stag and hen parties going abroad may see dwindling numbers as people’s pockets suffer in the current economic climate. The euro is expensive, so you could be spending the money you would have spent on a European city break on more luxuries for your hen or stag party on home turf. Now is a better time than any to explore what the UK has to offer you and your friends for an unforgettable party as a single man or woman.

Birmingham

With the most populated city in Britain outside of London you know there is going to be plenty to do in Birmingham. It is particularly ideal for stag and hen weekends because of its central location and high quality transport links. The bars and restaurants of the canal side development Brindleyplace are a great place to start off a day or even and evening.

There’s Cantonese, French, Italian, Japanese, Spanish or Thai. For shopping, there is the Bullring with the iconic design of Selfridges, but if you are after more designer shopping then canal side development Brindleyplace is only a few minutes away from the designer shopping complex of the Mailbox, which has just acquired a Harvey Nichols. The Water’s Edge, which is surprisingly on the waterfront, is a great place to meet your friends when the night is still young.

Newquay

Newquay’s natural beaches provide your party with the opportunity to surf and swim and the city is ideal for water lovers. The magnificent beaches also mean there are parties, which can enjoy extreme water sports, especially those who love a nautical adrenaline rush.

Cambridge

The ethereal Cambridge has one of Britain’s most beautiful and intimate city centres and is the ideal city for the more refined stag or hen party. Strolling around and exploring the city’s galleries are enough alone to pass the time during the day.

Get a tour on water with a difference on one of the many flat-bottomed boats propelled by means of a long pole, called a chaffeurpunt. You can sit back and take in the glorious college architecture whilst on the water. There are also a myriad of gift shops, and bookstores in around King’s Parade and Trinity Street, waiting to be explored. Cambridge also plays host to fine golf courses and driving tracks.

Manchester

One thing Manchester has to offer is its nightlife. And with its strong music history it has cubs and bars to cater to everyone’s tastes. There are 70s nights at the infamous Ritz on Whitworth street, Deansgate Locks and then the trendy bars hidden away in the Northern Quarter. There are also exclusive bars and clubs to cater for those who like to spend that extra more on a night out, with bars such as Circle, Panacea and Cloud 23 at the Hilton, where you can enjoy a cocktail in the sky!

There are plenty of areas to explore in the city, such as Chinatown and even more shopping to be done, with two Selfridges, a Harvey Nichols and the Trafford Centre. You are also spoilt for choice with restaurants, dotted around all over the city, notably in Deansgate near the city centre. There are also dirt buggy weekends, go karting, make your own cocktail evenings as well as archery trips in the area.

Adventure Connections are UK based stag and hen night organisers who can also provide corporate event organisation and team building activities.
